Ayudar y seguir ayudando.

En primero lugar, les contamos que Tirúa ya está recibiendo nuestra ayuda y están muy agradecidos. Poco a poco llega el momento en que los habitantes de la comunidad ya tienen lo básico y comienza el tiempo de recuperar y reconstruir. Muchas gracias a todos: Chaltü kompuche.

DONACIONES.
1. URGENTE, nos avisaron desde Tirúa que se necesitan catres, colchones en buen estado, loza y cocinillas con regulador de gas (no de camping). Las recibiremos durante mañana viernes en la Casa de CVX (María Luisa Santander 0290, Providencia), para que puedan partir en el camión.
2. Se siguen recibiendo alimentos no perecibles en la Casa de CVX y en el Hogar de Cristo de Santiago y también en su sede de Temuco (ya no en el Colegio San Ignacio EB).

VOLUNTARIOS.
1. Se necesitan voluntarios en la Casa de CVX para ordenar las donaciones recibidas y armar las canastas familiares, así como para cargar el camión mañana viernes en la noche. Llamar al 4217630 para confirmar horarios.
2. El Hogar de Cristo junto al Servicio Jesuíta a Migrantes estará abriendo un albergue para aquellos que han perdido sus viviendas. Se necesitan voluntarios que pasen la noche en el albergue (en grupos de 2 ó 3) para recibirlos, instalarlos, dar la cena y el desayuno, de 18:00PM a 06:00AM. Quienes no se pueden quedar toda la noche, pueden inscribirse para estar hasta las 22:00 ó 23:00 hrs. Inscribirse con Eddy Fernández al 77228645 o por mail a jesuitasmigrantes@gmail.com.
3. Como saben, mañana viernes a las 22:00 comienza la Teletón “Chile ayuda a Chile”. Nos han pedido que nos inscribamos en grupos de 5 o más para motivar y recibir a la gente que llegue a las sucursales de los bancos De Chile y Santander. Esta ayuda se necesitaría en diversas sucursales el sábado 7 entre las 09:00AM y las 21:00PM. Inscribirse en la Casa de CVX (tel: 4217630) o con Javier Mahú (cel: 93273856).
4. Estudiantes de 5º y 6º año (o profesionales) de Construcción Civil, Arquitectura o Ingeniería Civil (Estructuras) que quieran colaborar con el catastro del área de vivienda de Un Techo Para Chile, contactarse a cordinacioncatastro@gmail.com

Para nuestros amigos fuera de Chile: you can help Tirúa, too!!

Tirúa is a little town on the coast of Provincia de Arauco in Chile and was hardly hit by the recent mega-earthquake (8.5 in Richter scale). Tirúa is not just another town, is the land and home of some mapuche (lafkenche) communities and was specially damaged not just because the earthquake itself, rather by an agressive increase of sea level that took extraforce because the water mass on the river, and destroyed great part of houses and public buildings such as police station, health services and firemen station.

Tirúa is hungry and the inhabitants have no home, or clothes, or telephone communication, or access to be helped soon. So we have to answer the devastation with a movement of hope.

I know that many of you in Netherlands, the States, Uruguay, España, Brazil and la France are thinking “HOW CAN WE HELP to our bros in Chile?”, “HOW CAN WE LET THEM KNOW THAT WE ARE ENGAGED WITH THEIR HOPE?”.
I know that many of you have leadership, are artistic talented or have a lot of contacts. So I wanna encourage you to organize everything that you feel that could help to collect money and hope for Tirúa (parties, concerts, phone contacts, campaigns). Let’s help to our mapuche people to re-build their roots with the land. Move your hope!.
